Homeschool freedom winning in Colombia

ORLANDO, FL – National Christian homeschool leaders in Colombia saw a rare win in the freedoms for homeschoolers across the country earlier this year. The leaders, partnered with the International Association for Creation, came together to strategize a response to oppressive law proposals in Congress.

The meeting was designed to further a grassroots movement to provide a national voice in the public square regarding the increase of access to homeschooling and the protection of parental rights. IAC will continue supporting Colombia’s Christian homeschool leaders by monitoring the situation and providing advice, counsel and resources as applicable.

This struggle is for the freedom to homeschool as well as a battle for religious freedom. Modern politics and government authorities want to indoctrinate the public, especially children, with their selective messaging. The messaging limits the ability of the individual to exercise critical thinking, take personal responsibility, and strive for personal success.
