Bolivian government legalizes homeschooling
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: December 1, 2020
ORLANDO, FL – Bolivia’s Ministry of Education, national Christian homeschool leaders, and the International Association for Creation have worked with the Bolivian government in a campaign In La Paz, Bolivia, from Sept. to Nov. 2020 to lay the groundwork for the legalization of homeschooling, including a pathway for public policy to protect parents’ right to home education.
The proposed legislation helps protect the God-given rights of parents in Bolivia by creating a framework that can be used in other nations to help create a pathway for the legalization of homeschooling through public policy. IAC will continue supporting the national Christian homeschool leaders by monitoring the situation and providing advice, counsel, and resources as applicable.
This struggle is for the freedom to homeschool as well as a battle for religious freedom. Modern politics and government authorities want to indoctrinate the public, especially children, with their selective messaging. The messaging limits the ability of the individual to exercise critical thinking, take personal responsibility and strive for personal success.
